Frequently asked Questions [FAQ] about ALIED Acupuncture Training Courses

QuestionAnswer
Why can't I see the whole webpage? The website is optimised for a resolution of 1024*768 pixels.
To check if you have a problem with this resolution, please print out the instructions below, then follow them.
  • Print out these instructions.
  • Close your web browser, so you can see your normal desktop.
  • Move your mouse to a blank area of the desktop.
  • Right click, then select properties.
  • Select settings, then view the screen resolution.
  • If the resolution is less than 1024*768, try to move the slider to the right and increase the resolution.
  • If you cannot move the slider to increase the resolution, you may need an upgraded monitor to view the site correctly. Please consult a colleague with appropriate IT knowledge, or contact the webmaster for advice.
  • If the slider allows you to increase the resolution, try the effect of increasing to 1024*768. If this works OK, you will be able to view the website.
Why don't the menus work? If you can read this FAQ, the menus on the machine you are using do work, but you may be able to help someone else with this problem.
The site uses active scripting to drive the menus. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options then security. Medium security should work OK, but click on custom level and scroll down until you can see the scripting heading. Check that scripting is enabled, or at the least is set to prompt.
Why can't I view Adobe Acrobat Files? Firstly, you must have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed. If you've not got it, download it here.
Some browser security settings prevent viewing of Acrobat files. To work round this, right click on the item in question, then from the menu select 'Save Target As...'.
Enter a filename of your choice and 'Save' the item to your hard drive. Please use a filename you can remember and save it somewhere that you can remember also!
What is an Adobe Acrobat [PDF] file? A PDF file is a document for which you need a reader available from Adobe.
Click the Adobe icon to download a copy.
