Paul Blacker MBAcC FHEA EAR

Paul BlackerIt was through Qi Gong [Chinese exercises for health] taught by Gordon Peck, his original tutor, that Paul developed a deep and lasting curiosity about QI [body energy].

He returned to the United Kingdom to study Acupuncture at The London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine graduating in 1997, and went on to teach Swedish style therapeutic massage and Acupuncture at the University of Westminster in London.

He continues to teach Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture to naturopaths at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. For 10 years his role as the lead Acupuncturist for the substance misuse service in Kent has seen him providing front line auricular and body Acupuncture services for substance misuse clients throughout the North West Kent area.

Paul treats clients using a mix of full body and auricular Acupuncture, Tui na, remedial massage, Chinese dietary therapy and Qi gong in Longfield and Chatham in Kent, and has set up and runs the New Ash Green Rugby Club treatment centre, treating the male and female senior and junior squad players.

He is secretary of the Microsystems Acupuncture Regulatory Working Group [MACRWG] exploring, voluntary self regulation [VSR] with the Foundation of Integrated Health, and represents this group at the Acupuncture Stakeholders Group exploring statutory self regulation [SSR] of the acupuncture profession in England.
