Acupuncture Course Outline

This is a course aimed at Physiotherapists who may wish to expand clinical expertise to the management of these distressing and difficult conditions whilst remaining within the scope of Physiotherapy practice. The course will offer advice and marketing to those practitioners wishing to expand their services to Women's Health and Chronic Pain Management and the establishment of a headache clinic.

This is a specialised, theoretical course with limited practical component, within the field of Women's Health covering the aspect of:

• Hormonal Headaches
• Female Migraine,

with particular attention to the following stages throughout the life cycle:

• Menarche,
• Menstruation,
• Oral Contraception,
• Pregnancy,
• Menopause,
• Hormonal Replacement Therapy [HRT].
